"MOOOOOOSSSSEEEEE!"

This momma cow moose and her calf have taken up residency in Bridgerland! We were lucky enough to have them hang out for the morning in front of our house one morning. Since then we have come across them frequently on the roads and nestled in the trees a few yards from our house. So needless to say, we have been staying closer to home with the dogs and kids in the sleighs rather than venturing around our big loop. We LOVE moose! We are ecstatic when we see them! Saige commented, "The baby's head is SOOO BIG!" and Ridge said, "BIG DADDY MOOSE!" Such beautifully magnificent animals!






I can't believe it! While I was sitting at my computer this morning writing this post...I watched the momma moose charge the wild turkeys away from her baby! LOL! Now she is eating the seeds that Loretta, our neighbor, throws out for the turkeys. This is really going to put a damper on our sleigh riding activities today! Bummer cause it is such a nice day, but the last thing we need is to be charged by BIG MOMMA!
