GO REBELS!!!!

After a week of burning through a few tanks of gas to get Saige to and from practice, we were able to watch Saige SHAKE IT in her performance during the girls basketball game last Friday. She had mixed feelings about the whole deal. At first she was dying to be a cheerleader like Brookie and couldn't wait and totally wanted to be signed up. The first practice or two she did fine and was attentive and excited. The third day, not so much! She sulked and pleaded that she didn't want to be a cheerleader. Finally they were giving the cute shirts out and I told her she couldn't have one unless she did her cheer and dance with her last opportunity at the end of practice she pulled through. Then the day of the big event, she wanted to wear her clothes, not the jean shorts. I finally convinced her to put them on but she wouldn't let me do her hair. I thought "Oh Well, lets just get this over!" but on the way over she spilled her juice ALL OVER HER SHORTS AND COAT! UGH! So we washed/dried them at the school. Then she turned into all sorts of cheerleader! She wanted me to do her hair, she was jumping up and down and shaking it, so excited to perform! This girl...she is interesting. Anyway, she was cute cute cute during the performance and happy to be there! Of course we were proud parents and glad she at that moment decided she wanted to be a cheerleader. LOL! Of course I look forward to hearing my dad play the trumpet and RHS Band too!
