Cutting Hair is the thing to do...

Cody's hair was the longest it has been since I have known him. I guess when he was younger he had it even longer. But it was long enough he could put it in a pony tail and I teased him about being the pony tail teacher. We measured it and it was 6.5 inches and you have to have 10 inches to donate to Locks of Love and he didn't want to grow it out that much longer. He decided that it was time to cut it before he went to the temple with Kayden Calder and spoke with him at his farewell. I talked him into leaving it a little longer instead of buzzing it like we've done in the past. It looks great! No pony tail teacher here. :)
Ridge's hair grows so fast. We just cut it a couple months ago and it already grew like 4 inches. He said, "MOM, can you PLEASE cut my hair? It is hanging in my eyes!" After he begged another day or two I said, "Ok, do you want it still kinda long or really short?" "Really short!" So we cut it and he was excited! Not long enough to donate to Locks of Love either...but a BIG cut! He was thrilled!
Then we had dinner, got in the tub and I put him in front of the mirror to style it and have him brush his teeth before bed.  "MOM! You ruined it! You ruined my hair!!!!" I couldn't figure out through his crying if it was because of the cut or the style I was trying but he was NOT thrilled anymore. Poor guy! The next day he was excited that he didn't have to brush his bangs out of his eyes and he had a huge smile on his face as he said, "Yep, My Mom cut my hair and now its not in my eyes!" So I guess it was a good thing. :)
