We are excited about Garden City's new fishing pond! Some people are skeptical about why we need a fishing pond when we have a huge lake to fish? Really the fishing from the shore on the lake is not that good and you have to have a boat and down rigging to catch out in the deep lake, which Cody does have, but the wind and huge waves make it intimidating, especially with little kiddos. So we are big fans of the pond!!! It was so relaxing and peaceful! The fish were biting!! Saige caught her very first fish TOTALLY solo and Ridge reeled one in all by himself! Cody caught one as well and gave it to Kaeda. So each kid could hold a fish and they were ecstatic! What a great way to spend our family night! :)
