We broke our tradition of the 4th of July Paris Parade for a VERY good reason this year. We went to Preston, ID instead to Pam's home for a BBQ with Cody's side of the family! Corkey's small family has been growing. We meet one of Cody's twin brothers Ashley Madison and his crew. Anna is a very sweet and caring mother to their daughter Madison and we meet a new cousin, Lindsay too! It was a very nice and anticipated occasion.
Pam paid the kids a nickel a pinecone, so you can imagine with bags this full that they made a killing! Saige made enough that she could buy on the way home her much desired "Merliah" from Barbie in a Mermaid Tale! They cousins had a great time doing that together!
Then they entertained everyone, mostly themselves and me, with karaoke! Pam has a very elaborate system! We had a blast! I enjoyed singing with my niece Jordyn, she is beautiful and talented. Dylan can spit out the raps too! Kaeda's and Ridge's interest were shorter lived, but boy were they cute! Saige was super excited, she has good rhythm and a nice voice that I hope she develops.
Then back to Bear Lake to visit the gang at the BLGC! This exploding flower barrels had to suffice as our fireworks this year because of the ban on fires and fireworks. Okay by me, much safer and cheaper and we were tuckered right out after our big day. So thankful to be an American! So grateful for my freedom! So appreciative of those how have and still do fight to preserve our nation. God Bless America!!!
