Exploring the Outdoors...Together

We went fishing together at Tony's Grove Lake. Saige caught her very first fish! She was so excited, we were all thrilled! Ridge loved to cast and reele it back in. He didn't really grasp the idea of sitting and waiting patiently. I even tried to cast my Ugly Stick a couple of times...hmm...I need a lot of practice. I have a good teacher, just need to get out there and fish more often. Good thing Santa brought Saige and I both cute pink and black Ugly Sticks, now we just need to make the time to use them. The wildflowers were beautiful! The kids were fun, for the most part. I just LOVE our little family and enjoy everything we do together! We LOVE to go up in the mountains! So peaceful and quiet, beautiful views, and special time spent together as a family. So glad we were able to sneak away this night together. We enjoyed a little hike, playing with the dogs, seeing wildlife including a moose, and a very very bumpy road. Not sure that my belly and the babe loved it but it was worth it. The kids absolutely LOVE and CHERISH the moments they get to be with their daddy and in the outdoors!
