Cody has been stocking this deer for months. His first attempts were with the bow. He spent many hours on the hill side waiting for him and passed up many other bucks, holding out for the big one. When he did have a shot at him, sadly, he missed. So opening day of the muzzle loader hunt he took the day off from school and he and his buddy Darin Pugmire set out before dark to get set up for the perfect kill. It was his lucky day. They were in range and Cody is a great shot with a gun. So he finally got him, his very first 4 point! YAY! We were so excited for him. What a great hunt. Way to go mighty hunter man!
