Welcome Home

Grandma Paulers was a trooper this day...She loaded up Saige and Ridge into our new Silver Bullet Boat ('95 GMC Yukon) to come and pick us up from the hospital. While making a few stops they managed to mess up the doors so they wouldn't shut and she had to drive very slowly to the hospital so they wouldn't swing open plus the kids were a handful. After they picked me up we had to swing into a mechanic to have him help us figure out the doors. LOL! A pain but we, including grandma, survived.
I was anxious to get home, even though the alone time in the hospital was very nice, but how could you not be excited to be with these happy smiling faces. The kids were ecstatic to be picking up their little sister and glad to have their mommy home. I just love my kiddos to pieces and at this moment I was thinking, "Wow! A mom of 3. I am so so so blessed!"
Little Kaeda was so tiny in her darling little Calvin Klein outfit and car seat. We bundled her up in the elegant car seat wrap and cover that Brookie picked out for us. She looked so cute!
Shortly after settling in at home we decided to give Kaeda her first bath at home. Her siblings were MORE than helpful but so excited to help and check her out. They were super curious about her cord and very careful with her, even though they were a bit more on the smothering side. I kept thinking, I hope she survives them!
All clean and settled in. Kaeda is not starved for love and attention that is for sure. Her big sister and big brother are so loving and actually pretty helpful even if I have to keep a careful eye out for Kaeda's safety.
Well...What do you think Kaeda? Do you like your new home? We are all super thrilled to have you here and thankful God brought you safely into our family. WELCOME HOME!
