Kaeda Turns ONE!

Our family arrived...Grandpa, Grandma, The Smith's, Kayla and Brookie and Papa and Pam! Kaeda is so blessed to have such loving people in her life!

Corkey is such a great dad! So appreciative of all he does for us!

Papa and Pam knows that the kids LOVE to color, so they surprised Saige and Ridge with new coloring books and crayons. As you can see...they were delighted!

LET the CeLeBrAtIoN begin!!

I had such a great time making Kaeda's panda birthday cake! Making the kids birthday cakes is what I look forward to the very most! We had yummy grilled kabobs, fruit, veggies and pumpkin bread.

Kaeda had mixed feelings about the cake. She was scared, excited, curious, sad and happy! She went through several emotions in under a minute as she tried to figure out what in the world was being placed in front of her. She finally decided she liked it and wanted to eat it and share it with mom too. :)

We just sat Kaeda in the middle of our square table so everyone had a front row seat. She thought that was pretty cool. She got a little help from her cousins and siblings opening her gifts but she did have a great time. We appreciated all the fun gifts and generosity. Papa/Pam gave diapers and pjs. Gma/pa gave two cute stuffed animal sets and pjs. We gave her a snuggy blanket, pj's and a sound making book. Her favorite though...the baby Ariel doll from the Smith's. It is so cute how she snuggles up to that baby, gives her hugs and kisses, pats her on the back and holds her hands and twirls her around. :)

What a fun celebration! Kaeda is such a joy! I love her so much! My big girl...I can't believe a year has flown by so quickly. Every moment, every tender snuggle makes my heart swell with LOVE! Happy Birthday my little Kin-Kin! :)
