Raspberry Days

And they all came flooding in! It never ceases to amaze me how many people get packed into our little valley on Raspberry Days. The kids and I headed to the fair to secure our annual pajama scrubs before they got too picked over then went to the parade on Thursday. As a family, we went to the fair to eat, check out all the other booths and play. (Didn't :( take my camera.) Then Saturday I convinced Cody to watch the kids while I slipped away to make a couple more purchases. That night we had a bbq and watched the fireworks from my deck. We had a perfect view and wonderful food! The party doubled as a going away party for Mikayla. Last minute, she was invited to play in a Junior Championship Golf Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio. So she had to say goodbye to Bear Lake a week earlier than she had planned. She will be picked up from the airport in SLC by my dad, mom and Brook to go straight down to Cedar City to begin her new chapter of life at SUU. We are so very proud of her. She will be missed dearly. WE WISH YOU THE VERY BEST MIKAYLA! Don't be sad because it is over, be happy because you were a part. :)
