So glad that God created so many beautiful places on the earth for us to enjoy in all their grandeur. I'm especially thankful for four seasons and the beauty and anticipation each one brings. This serene piece of heaven, Bloomington Lake, was visited by us Friday morning. Visiting in the fall was a new treat for me because we had the place to ourselves and the leaf colors were so vibrant even on the drive to and from. The reflection of the cliffs were a perfect mirror image and the water was so cool and pristine. The experience reminded me of a favorite song that my dad always sang around the campfire with his guitar, "Fall" by John Denver.
Thanks family...So glad we seized the day!

I haven't checked your blog for a while and I love all your new posts. Way to Go on the closest to the pin. That is so cute you got pictures. I didn't even think of that. What fun memories you are making EVERYDAY!
Fun- I need to take my kids to Bloomington Lake... I haven't ever taken them there! Cute fall pictures!
Fun! Brittney - you look like you did in high school (GREAT)!
You guys are so great to plan and take so many fun family trips together. I don't think that we (my family) take advantage of this valley like we should. You're a great example of making the most of where we live.
