Change is Inevitable

I can't believe Ridge is already 7 months! He is growing and changing so quickly. Yesterday morning he pulled himself up to standing on a basket of toys! I couldn't believe my eyes. I rushed to get the camera but he had fallen back down by the time I got it out. A sign of things to come...a glimpse of the joy and mischief Christmas time will bring as he gets into everything! He is doing very well at rolling from his back to his belly, especially in his crib which concerns me, but not quite from belly to back. His favorite is to sit and try to act like big sister. Saige is also changing before my eyes. I can't believe she will soon be three. My favorite new things about her is how she loves to play hide and seek and says, "I will count and you will hide." Her developing sense of humor is a treat, I love how she tries to joke and says, "Are you kidding me?" There is nothing better than getting tickled by her tiny little fingers as she says "Tickle Tickle" in her little pixie voice! After listening to conference, especially President Thomas S. Monson, I feel more inspired to "Enjoy the Journey...NOW!" Because time does not stand still and change is inevitable. Because times are tough and we have to live with less does not mean we have to despair and I appreciate hearing these words from the speakers in conference. Yesterday, instead of just going to the dentist(I have to admit I enjoy because it feels good to get those suckers clean), we met Cody's mom at Willow Park. Saige had a great time running around checking out all the animals and was so animated about the sounds they made and their movements. It was beautiful, with the leaves changing and falling! I particularly enjoyed climbing through the tunnels and going down the slides with Saige. What an endorphin releaser! I asked Saige what her favorite animal was, to which she replied, "My favorite 'amillo' was the Giraffe!" I guess I need to take her to Hogal Zoo since there is NO Giraffe at Willow park. SILLY:) It was a great family night!
