Easter

EASTER PREP: We boiled and decorated eggs. Saige's were painted with sparkly glitter and a million stickers. Ridge's were colored with crayon. MARVELOUS! Then of course we had to make a traditional egg dye rainbow in the snow! EASTER SNOW: So glad it snowed again because we had an absolute blast playing in the snow! We hung our eggs out on our trees on the front porch, played with the dogs, attempted a snowman and sledded down the hill in the back yard. WHAT A BLAST! CITY EASTER EGG HUNT: This is the first year that we have gone. I thought is was well organized and enough candy and eggs for those who attended. BUT it was soooooo cold. Ridge kept saying, "Mommy it's cold, cold, cold, Mommy Home!" After a few fun photo shots and a couple friendly hello's we headed for home and drank some hot cocoa and marshmallows. Yummy! EASTER MORNING: The Easter Bunny found us. Ridge got a bunch of dinosaurs, which grabbed his attention so much he didn't care about hunting for eggs and candy. Saige got Barbie in a Mermaid Tale movie and a mermaid doll and sea horse. Of course they both got a little spring outfit too that they won't be able to wear for a while. Yet. Papa also sent over a bunch of goodies and fun stuff! Then we watched conference and ate like kings at my parents house! Mom had some cute little spring outfits for the kids too! This Easter weekend I was mostly grateful to my Savior for his life and ministry and to be able to watch conference and be spiritually feed. I am grateful for my family, home and the beautiful place that we live! I am also thankful for the moisture we received. AND I wish that every holiday didn't offer so many yummy temptations to eat...Ugh...get rid of the candy! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
