He DID IT!

...He passed! Cody is at the top of his game! Earlier this season he passed his Park & Pipe snowboarding accreditation and this last week he became an AASI Level 3 Certified Snowboard Instructor!!! I am so impressed! He passed on his first try too, often times people have a few goes at it before they pass but Cody pretty much put his heart and soul into snowboarding this winter and made the strides necessary to perform well. What does this mean? Level 3 is the highest level of certification in the AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) and he could pretty much teach anywhere he wanted, but BFL(Beaver for Life!) for us, pretty much. However, Cody has expressed that one day he would like to be a DCL, not sure what this stands for but basically the trainers that have been teaching and examining him are called DCL's. So he wants to be one of the big guys! Not sure I want him to be gone THAT MUCH! I am so glad that I am married to a hard working and goal driven man.
