T-Ball

We've had a BLAST with t-ball! Again, Ridge and I cheer Saige on and practice on the sidelines and cheer her on. She is quite excited for her turn to bat and has improved a bunch and she loves to be using her cousin Charleigh's pink mitt. Her little 4 year old attention span gets pretty distracted in the outfield but says her goal is to catch 4 balls and throw them to first base. I tell her that is a great goal but she had got to quit rolling around in the grass and giggling with the other girls. It has been a great experience for her. We bought Ridge his own Sponge Bob mitt and ball and he is getting pretty good, he is pretty much dead on with his throwing and has quiet the arm...gotta work on his catching a bit. We've enjoyed going to watch dad play softball on Thursday nights and have been picking up some pointers from his games like swinging hard at the ball, running fast to the bases and staying standing when your in the outfield and getting ready to catch the ball.
