Down on the Boardwalk...we'll be having some fun! This is one of my favorite things to do with the kids in the fall and it is manageable for a pregnant lady. This time of year the BUGS are abundant and my inquisitive kids are in heaven. They love to hold all sorts of creepy crawling things and don't seem to mind leaving the door open at home to let as many flies and moths in our house too. The boardwalk was crawling with grasshoppers and they were loving it. I especially enjoy how vivid the color of the lake is against the yellowing cattails and grass. I sure love these kiddos and moments like these!
