The weekend started off with the most breath taking sunrise ever! The recipe: cool clouds, cool temps, cool kids who wake up before dawn! Without the last ingredient I would have slept right through it.
Thanks Kids!
My mom, Candice and I went to watch my dad's final show as Everett in Crazy for You at Pickleville Playhouse. It was fun to have a little time out. They had a great performance and I am glad I got to watch him again. We got to sneak a peak of Kayla in her serving action at the Western Cookout and sneak a couple scones and cookies.
Kaeda is keeping us entertained as she moves and kicks. The kids love to feel and watch her. They are quite concerned about how she hurts mommy and they look forward to the day that she will be here so they can play. Ridge is eager to show her his animals and loves to line them up on my belly and have her kick them off. Saige talks about how she is going to be such a good helper and is getting so big that she will be able to hold her and take care of her in the backseat while I am driving.
Jumping on the trampoline is always the BEST at Gpa's and Gma's! It was a little chilly so the kids had blankets tied around them to keep them warm plus they acted as skirts and capes too. We made Yum Yummy tinfoil dinners and ate them in the back yard for what will probably be our last cook out. Saige LOVES to eat outside and is always begging to have a cookout and especially a camp out. Maybe next year we will be able to do more of that. Camping pregnant is just not too comfortable or desirable.
Though the sun was shining Monday morning...It was CHILLY! We were determined to take in the lake and spend the day there together but we spent most of the time wrapped up in our cover ups, hoodies, and towels. Needless to say, we did not get in the water, just watched other crazy people. Yet we stayed for nearly 4 hours and had fun playing games in the sand and hanging out.
Sad to see the summer come and go so quickly but I anticipate a warm serene Autumn. Guess I need to put in my order for that? Please let it be a warm, long, enjoyable Fall!
