AMERICA!!! AMERICA!! GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE!!!
I love our country! May it always be blessed and may I raise my children to honor and respect our country and our Star Spangled Banner and be reverenced by the sacrifices of those who fought and still fight for our Freedoms! Happy 4th of July!!!
We started off our celebrating the day before with big bbq in my parents backyard with the Shaw family! Always good food and good times in that yard!
We slipped over to our awesome friends and neighboors, The Robinson's, for a fun fireworks show!On the 4th we headed down to Paris, ID for some more fun! We loved playing on the park and tossing around the freezbie while some attended the program.
Then we watched the parade! It was a fun little parade and the kids got more candy than we needed! The weather was perfect, just a little overcast and an occasional drizzle of rain but no major wind or downpour. Perfect! It was fun to have Brook's friend, Calyn's Family with us as well as Travis and the Shaw's!
Then we got pizza at Lakeside Pizza and ate it on the Garden City church lawn. Yummy!
Braxton was so proud of his flag that he got from the parade. The kids made their own little parade and marched all around us and showed their respects to the flag. When the Shaw's arrived they gave the kids some kites and they ran around flying those, which was so cute to see but I didn't get any good pics of that.
Then we departed for a litle rest before gathering at the BLGC to watch the fireworks. We had a fun crew and the fireworks were cool, especially the fireworks show that Travis put on for us after the sweetwater ones.
THEN....The worsed happened...After snapping this shot of myself with my favorite little guy...my camera BUSTED! :...( Boo Hoo! It was a sad moment. I literally broke the camera just by snapping a pic of me. The shutter just wouldn't close and it wouldn't take any more pics. So this is the last pic that my little purple Olympus, that had been dropped way too many times, ever took in its lifetime and sadly the last digital pic that the Lundgren's will have for a long while. Maybe it was a sign that I took too many pictures and needed to simplify my jpeg files on my computer. Oh well though, I can really think of much worse and I am definatley counting my blessings!
